Welcome to another day in paradise. Well, not exactly, but Phuket in Thailand comes close to it, and in this video, we’ll show you exactly why.

So make yourself comfortable, and let’s explore Phuket together.

Let me guess, you thought Thailand was all about being calm and relaxed? Well, wait until Angelique wakes you up early in the morning with a cannonball in the pool!

The girls made a nice breakfast, but we were slowly running out of ingredients, so a shopping trip was inevitable. It was also a great opportunity to show you what a typical grocery store in Thailand looks like.

We found some real gems and a couple of surprises in the store. All in all, I believe we got ourselves a good deal.

After we dropped everything off at the Home Exchange, we headed to the famous Nui Beach. Now, getting there was a bigger adventure than the beach itself. Don’t get me wrong, the beach is very Instagramable, but there are many nicer ones in Phuket.

For dinner, we stopped at our favorite local restaurant. We had some delicious Thai food and fresh fruit juices.

The following day, we decided to give a few more beaches a try to see which one we liked best. First, we took a nice walk along Ao Bang Thao - a beautiful laguna beach in Phuket that reminded us of Celebration, Florida, and then we moved to Kamala Beach to watch the beautiful sunset.

And if you are wondering why we got all dolled up for the beach, well, it’s because of what came after. That night, we decided to go to the famous Phuket attraction called FantaSea Cultural Show.


And let me tell you, it DID NOT disappoint. First of all, it was much bigger than we imagined! Think Disneyland of Thailand!

First we enjoyed a delicious buffet at a massive restaurant with every Thai food imaginable. Then, we discovered the beautiful temples, played some games, won prizes, and then it was time for the big finale - the FantaSea show.

We were able to capture a tiny bit of the before and after atmosphere, but cameras were not allowed inside the theater. I promise you, it was so much fun and definitely worth seeing.

So colorful and animated - we all had a favorite part of the show!

The next day, we decided to give Phuket Downtown a try. In the beginning, we hesitated to go, thinking there was not much to see, but it quickly changed our minds. It was such a cute area, lined with shops, restaurants, historic buildings and quaint little roadside cafes.

There is really so much to love about Thailand. The food, the people, the culture, the weather, the hospitality, the nature… feel free to stop me anytime. 😀
