Several years in the making, version 7 of the REMnux toolkit for malware analysts is out. This Linux distribution is designed for reverse engineering or otherwise examining malicious software, such as compiled executables, document files, and scripts. Its a testament to the power of the community, whose members have created the free tools that come as part of REMnux.

How has REMnux evolved in the decade of its existence? Whats new and exciting in the new release? How can you set it up and start benefiting from the hundreds of malware analysis tools that it includes? Lenny Zeltser, the founder and primary maintainer of REMnux, explains in this informative presentation.
