I made this short film almost 20 years ago right around the time I became obsessed with David Lynch's ERASERHEAD and THE GRANDMOTHER, so it's kind of tribute to Lynch's style in those 2 films.
The "cat" that is poked with the stick and caught on fire was a part of a mink coat that I stuffed with old turkey and dressing leftovers and spray painted it black to look like a dead cat.
The last sequence with the cat giving birth to the stillborn kittens is real.
All of the footage was shot in my friend's and parent's backyards back in fall of 2006, the synthesizer soundtrack was added last year.
