The Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument in north-central New Mexico is a scenic area with white volcanic cone formations. One of the two hiking trails in the Monument passes through a slot canyon with hoodoos. There are similarities of the rock formations with the ones in Cappadocia, Turkey.
