It’s crop scout tour day! 🚜 We’re just a few short weeks away from harvest, and it’s time to check how our crops are finishing out.

First stop - our Battle of the Bean Field, where we’re putting Emily’s drilled beans head-to-head with Avery’s planted beans. The only difference? How they went in the ground. Crop protection was the exact same, including one of the stars of the show — Enlist® 1 from Corteva Agriscience. We like Enlist 1 because it mixes easily in the tank with other products and gets everything done in one pass. As Avery says: the most expensive pass is the one that doesn’t work.

From there, we check out a corn field that’s already starting to dent, another soybean field, and then head back to the farm… where chaos erupts in the calf barn when the calves decide to switch pens.
