Quite the upgrade! 💸In our area we are required to have a septic system to move into our home. Because of our rocky soil we had to install a sand mound septic system which is substantially more expensive than a traditional system.
The system is a 15’x60’ foot bed and is designed for 500 gallons a day (I.e. a 5 bedroom home). Our current structure only has 1 bedroom and an office but we plan to build an addition in the future with 3 bedrooms so we wanted to have the extra capacity!

ABOUT US: We are Alex and Elaina, a couple in our 20s who are currently living on the 3-acre farm in southern Pennsylvania where Alex grew up. We have a garden, backyard chickens, and build or fix anything that we need to.
