The SI4735 is a 3.3V part. If you are using the Arduino Mega 2560 (5V), you have to use a 5V to 3.3V converter. I am using the SparkFun Level Translator Breakout - PCA9306.
ESP32 and Si4735 are 3.3V part. So, you do not need a level converter.
