Prof David Wheeler (University College London, London, UK), co-chief investigator of the DAPA-CKD study joined Dr Harriette Van Spall (McMaster University, Hamilton, CA) to discuss the results of the study. The purpose of DAPA-CKD was to evaluate the effect of dapagliflozin on renal outcomes and cardiovascular mortality in patients with chronic kidney disease.
