He couldn’t stand the old porch roof anymore, so he tore it down to surprise his wife. But smashing it apart was just the beginning. After removing the entire cover and leaving the porch exposed on a cloudy day, there was no going back. In his garage, he began cutting new wood beams, knowing that simply rebuilding it the same way wouldn’t impress her. So, he changed the design completely, going for a fresh sloped roof. It’s still a work in progress, but what do you think of the new look?
