Flying business on Avianca for the first time..I had the chance to visit the Avianca VIP Lounge at San Salvador Airport (SAL) — and it exceeded my expectations.
The lounge is located near Gate 8 and offers a calm, spacious atmosphere to unwind before your flight. What really stood out were the shower facilities: clean, modern, and well-stocked with towels, toiletries, and shampoo — great of you are a fast traveler like me.
There’s a dedicated quiet area with recliners, a kids’ playroom, and workstations with charging ports. The food and drinks selection is decent, and the staff were genuinely warm and helpful throughout my stay.
Whether you’re connecting through San Salvador or starting your journey here, this lounge is a great place to relax, refresh, or get some work done in comfort.
