Here's how to make poached eggs two different ways: the classic way and the viral way. 

Classic Method:
Heat a pot of water until it's just boiling, then lower your heat to a steady simmer. 

Stir the water with a spoon to create a vortex before cracking in your eggs. The spinning will give you that classic poached egg consistency. 

Cook for 2 minutes before removing with a slotted spoon and serving. 

Viral Method:
Heat a pot of water the same as in the classic method. Crack your eggs into a bowl of vinegar (white, red, rice— dealer's choice) and then pour both eggs and vinegar into the water. 

Cook for a couple of minutes, remove with a slotted spoon, and serve. 

If you're an egg lover, then you know how delicious poached eggs can be. If you don't get them right the first time around, that's okay!
