She just got off work as a construction worker. She was holding her dinner, a bag of vegetables. So the couple offered to buy her more ingreidents and they were invited to her home. She cooked a delicious meal and they ate together.
The living room light however, was broken and she hadn't have time to fix it. When they got to talking, the woman revealed that she has very low self esteem and doesn't think she amount to much. She feels regretful of having married her husband. Well, ex husband. She had to raise her son by herself.
The couple was sympathetic and they said goodbye at the end of the night. But they decided to visit her again 2 days later, this time, the woman gave her a gift of skincare products. She hasn't been tkaing care of her skin at all and loved the gift. But that's not all, they took her to get makeup done. She never had makeup before not even on her wedding day because her parents forbade her. She was married off young. She looked beautiful in the makeup.
When returned to her at 9 years old. She wanted to go to amusement park, but never got to so that's where they went. Then, they returned to her at 19 years old, she started a job doing sewing, later, her eyesight got worse and but fired. She made a lot of clothes but never bought one she liked for herself. So the lady bought it for her.
They returned to her at 30 years old, when she wanted to learn how to dance but her husband wouldn't let her and responsibility kept her away from dancing. There, they danced all night.
She had been a daughter, wife, mother, all her life, she did what everyone wanted of her and in the process, she lost herself.
They returned to her apartment and celebrated the new year early that day with a hotpot. The woman promised to appreciate and love herself more in 2025.
The lady was surprised that the light was fixed. She said that her son had fixed it previous night. Perhaps the light was a symbol of her new start in life.
