Ukraine launched deadly counter-attacks days after Russia intensified its airstrikes on the war-torn country, including Kyiv. Ukraine soldiers fired a barrage of missiles, targeting Russian troops in the Donetsk region. Ukraine claimed that 400 Russian soldiers died after its missile hit a temporary deployment point in Makeevka city. The Russian defence ministry, on the other hand, acknowledged the deaths of 63 of its soldiers in the Ukrainian assault.
