Avid viewers will know that I'm not a plasterer and I don't let on that I know what I'm doing! After doing the first bit of plastering today above the window I decided to try and work with a much more runny mix and see if it would stick on the walls. It went on much faster but was no good for filling the deep holes. If you are struggling with your budget on a renovation plastering is definitely a place to save some money "IF" you are not that fussy about the finish on your walls. If you want super smooth walls I would hire the services of a good plasterer.
I've used this song on a previous video and it was in my head today as I was working in the kitchen so decided to give it another outing. I'm not sure who the artist is.

This is a daily vlog of our self-renovation of a French Townhouse which was originally built sometime in the 1930s. We left Ireland in August 2023 with our two kids and two dogs in search of a family home and these videos are a way to document the process for ourselves, as well as hopefully inspiring others to take on a similar project.
