Ok friends, this is a long lost British comedy that tries very hard to groove with the swinging 60's while at the same time engaging in UK baggy pants comedy that was long outdated by the time. The film stars Donald Pleasence as an inventor who is consistently bullied by his rich but obnoxious wife. He has an alter ego who is a cool hipster who can fool people at the drop of a hat, and he has an affair with a hot blonde while in this persona. But as Arthur, he in turn gets hoodwinked by Terry Thomas and later in the film Shelley Winters. Oh yeah, and as his alter ego he also kills the shrewish wife...and gets away with it. Not a great film but very rare, not available on Video, DVD or Blu Ray. But now available thanks to Cinefear and a 16mm transfer and color correction. Pleasence and Winters in bed together has to be seen to be believed!
