
In the second half of the video, I share how you can use a water based colorant, such as spray ink or watercolor, to add a background color to your paper. The oil pastel (and a crayon would do the same) will "resist" the water based product.
You'll notice that I always try to provide supply substitutions for you. There are many art supplies that can be used to do the same thing. Hopefully you already have something in your stash to do the job. If not, here are my supplies:
