A friend of mine, who goes by Diseased Entity, asked this on Facebook, and it got me thinking; how are YOU promoting your music, now? It's a loaded question, and it requires a LOT of work. Using social media, reaching out to fans, radio, blogs, websites, playing shows... it is a full time job that rarely gives you full time benefits (read: $$$). Nonetheless, we have to think about it! I use social media a LOT, namely to meet people who are into the type of music I make. I work to tie in with others who make like music, ask for remixes, and just network all the time. Always be networking!
