These are famously called the Hundred Islands in the Philippines, This is a very popular tourist destination because of its beautiful scenery, clean waters, and thrilling activities like the banana boat. But beyond that, it's not really a hundred islands, but 124 islands all in all. In January 1940, President Quezon declared a portion of Lingayen Gulf, including the Hundred Islands, as a national park. Each of these islands was formed over two million years ago by wind, water, and waves crashing on the big rocks. But here's the thing: you can't actually visit all the islands. Only a few of them are open for tourists, while the rest are kept safe to protect the wildlife and culture that exists there. Can you imagine, though, swimming to all of these islands?
