One day when he was out
He heard a goose shout

I was born wearing dancing pants!”
But that other goose danced even better than Giddy
He was Zander the Gander, from a different city
When Giddy saw Zander he had to scoff
And he challenged that stranger to a dance off
Giddy went first, feeling bold and brave
He did the Robot, the Chicken, and a funky wave
His groove was smooth
Good going, goose!
For the grand finale he shook his caboose!

Giddy shouted at Zander, “Let’s see what you got!”
Zander smiled and said, “I’ll give it a shot”
Zander shimmied and boogied and spun on his head
His moves were so hot the ground glowed red
And right before Zander called it quits
He did a triple backflip and landed in the splits!
Giddy turned away, he couldn’t take any more
He’d never seen dancing like that before
He knew Zander was grander when he heard the crowd roar
So he waddled away, staring down at the floor
Zander called out, “Hey, Giddy, don’t go…
You’re a really great dancer, don’t you know?
We’re two birds of a feather
And if we dance together
I bet our boppin’ will be even better”
Giddy wondered, “Should I join Zander in a dance?”
And his heart told him to give it a chance

They danced together sharing moves of their own
They danced together - they were in the zone
And when they performed in front of a crowd
They blew the roof off the place
The cheers were so loud!
