The Functional Safety Lifecycle as defined by IEC 61511 provides a method to analyze a process then design and implement a safety instrumented system to protect again high risk hazard scenarios. To perform each task effectively requires a good understanding of any analysis or design done beforehand. Part 2 of this webinar focuses on the design and implementation phase of the lifecycle.
