A generative additive synthesizer. A number of noise functions (gradient, simplex, brownian, fractal) are used as dynamic amplitude controllers for an array of 1080 sinusoidal waves, pitch-mapped from 24 to 132.The spectral images are generated and morphed continuously, filtered using other noise-generated dynamic functions, and tonally masked using customized amplitude vectors.
The display depicts -in orange- all 1080 partials, lower at the left, higher at the right. The amplitudes are impregnated in a custom spectrogram -greyscale- running upwards in the background
