Are you curious to find out how much power does a small water distiller from DuraStill consumes? Watch this video!

This durastill water distiller uses 1000 watts heating element. I was surprised as of how accurate it actually consumes. My Kill-a-Watt meter actually registers exactly 1000 watts (without the cooling fan on).

When the cooling fan turns on, total power consumption is 1045 watts.

1045 watts is needed continuously. Same before water boils, after water boils, after it is producing distilled water, etc... ALWAYS 1045 watts!
