I had the idea to create a mix similar to the tattoo style of new school design. Something that takes the old style and gives it a new perspective whilst staying true to the original form.

With this in mind I present a Drum & Bass mix of classic House tracks from the early 90s. this would of not been possible back in the day due to samplers and software being limited to how far you could time stretch the samples and vocal before it sounded like the chip monks were back and singing your favourite house tracks!

Many of my favourite tracks are remixed here and the whole mix was inspired by DJ Redroc putting me onto the Future Sound of London, "Papa new guinea. " The set was built around this and N Joi's, "Anthem." Once I had them down everything else built onto their foundation. High Contrast's, "Days go by," isn't from that time period but fits so well I had to feature it along side these otherwise timeless classics.
