In 2017, I adopted a greyhound. I found him in a corner of an industrial warehouse, taking shelter from a violent storm. He was malnourished, bleeding, with a broken rib, and his neck was bleeding from having his microchip removed with a knife.
Just seeing it broke my heart.
I took him home, fed him, and he fell asleep in a bed with blankets. He slept for two days. We treated him, and since then, he's only known love.
Greyhounds are fearful, affectionate, and loving dogs. They are very grateful.
Every year, for various reasons, including hunting, these dogs are mistreated, abused, and abandoned. When they no longer serve them, they are abandoned or worse.

I know what's going on. I don't feel sad or hurt. I only feel rage and wrath.

I can't do much, but this song is for them.
