The latest FlashingDroid video features Sony's new wireless microphone ECM-W2BT and lavalier mic ECM-LV1. The Sony ECM-W2BT brings fully digital audio recording and transmission to some Sony's high end cameras with MI shoe support. It sort of revolutionises wireless recording for videographers that it doesn't involve any digital to analog translation within the entire process. This results in lower noise and lower data loss. As a result, the audio quality will be technically a big leap forward compared to other wireless mics on the market which require 3.5mm cable for digital to analog translation.
