#theory #composition A project I undertook At DBS Music Plymouth, in my first year of the Music Production & Sound Engineering module. This assignment involved creating a 'HOMAGE' composition, an original one by myself, but using an existing industry recognised song as a template for the theory & composition of a new song. Therefore, I analysed the key, mode, tempo for the theory side and sonics, playing techniques, the tracking techniques of Alan Moulder for the composition side of it. I called my homage song, 'Underdog'. The production, recording, mixing and mastering wasn't part of this task and thus, the production quality was not focused on as much as the composing side.
