De Haske Concert and Contest Collection – Grade 3 – Duration: 08:30
Performed by The Royal Ypriana Wind Band and its conductor Nico Logghe
This work describes the royal history of the Spanish village of Artajona and the Kingdom of Navarre. The music varies from majestic to fast and lively. We hear bells, a Gregorian theme, we are taken to the Middle Ages in a subdued passage and we listen to echoes of the hymn of Navarre. The composition concludes with the bells of Artajona: a fitting and attractive ending.
