I decided to give drum synthesis a go, making my own sounds from scratch using the Electribe 2's "analog" waveforms.
I love how this machine gives you the option of either using your own drum samples or creating your own analog-sounding drum sounds from scratch.

I can't wait to try the synthesis techniques I learned on REAL analog waveforms (The Electribe 2 uses digital analog modelling) someday, though it's nice not having to worry about tuning I guess!
