Skin Yard’s first full length outing, this self-titled album hit shelves all the way back in 1986. Despite they’re ahead-of-the-curve style and sound, the band never gained much success. However, guitarist Jack Endino would go on to have an immensely successful career as a sound engineer working primarily with Sub Pop and would credited on hundreds of albums including Soundgarden’s “Screaming Life”, Green River’s “Dry as a Bone”, and even Nirvana’s 1988 single “Love Buzz”.
