This live cinematic synthwave was made to sooth some difficult emotions I'm going through right now with my son, who is in poor health. I'm using the Buchla 208c Easel Command for the rhythmic pulse, the ARP-2600 for the lead, and the Moog Grandmother to supplement the sound. The bass is running through a Make Noise Morphagene and a Monsoon (mutable instruments clouds clone). I'm manually manipulating the Morphagene to make the ambience change, and I enjoy how setting the sound on sound knob halfway with the morph knob turned up makes this ever evolving recording. Since I generally write film music as a profession, most of my stuff ends up being pretty ambient electronic music and cinematic orchestral music.
