Eightball Records Proudly Presents :
“Red Dream” by Ed The Red AKA Edward Goltsman
In 1990 Ed started his own label, Bottom Line Records, that quickly became a household name among the lovers of classic 90s House Music. O.D.C "My mind is going", Flow "Another time", Vivian Lee "Music is so wonderful" (that was sampled by the countless numbers of producers and released under the names: “Wonderful”, “Music so wonderful”, etc.), Barbara Dixon "It's alright" and "Wanna be your lover" and a number of other releases became a representation of what 90s soulful, jazzy, deep house music was all about. Ed's tracks were consistently featured on play lists of top Djs like Tony Humphries, John Robinson, Louie Vega, Timmy Regisford, Doc Martin and many others.
In 2016 Ed decided to bring Bottom Line Records back and since then he had 5 consecutive top 10 hits with “Summer is the coldest season” reaching #2 on the UK Soul Chart Top 30, and “Love-Amore” capturing the #1 spot on Indamixworldwide chart and #1 on the UK's Soul and Dance chart.
Now Ed decided to spread the love and as he described it : “I have my newest house music creation coming out on a New York's house label loved and respected by so many - Eightball Records.
"This track came to me in my dream" - says Ed, hence the name of the track - "Red Dream".
"For me this was a dream", continues Ed, "but for the rest of my family a little bit of a nightmare since the thumping bass kept the walls of my house vibrating all night long!" he laughs.
For the second mix Ed enlist the help of DJ Rus Deep Who takes the track into even more deep and underground territory.
