The stock HB-103 pickups are modelled after the Seymour Duncan Distortion set.
I don’t mind the stock HB-103 pickups at all. I find they compliment the guitar’s tone well. I like the riff and lead tones but personally I find the clean tones a little “dry” sounding.
But the Seymour Duncans do offer a little more "body" to the sound which I like.
