Romford, Essex.

Various shots of guitars being made at a factory in Romford. Good C/Us of craftsmen at work and of the guitars taking shape. Narrator says that guitar making is enjoying a boom in Britain because of the "Beat Groups". The guitars are electric guitars and a dozen different craftsmen will work on each one - "all this to make a bedlam of adolescent noise" says the narrator. He makes a gag about how expensive the guitars are, leaving musicians with no money to have a haircut.

Some of the guitars are sprayed bright red and hung up to dry. Guitars are strung. They are "Burns" guitars. Man tests the sound quality of a guitar with special equipment. Narrator quips: "Surprising when you consider the noise they make that each and every guitar is scientifically tuned just as if they were REAL musical instruments!" The guitars are then burnished to a high gloss - lovely!

David Michael from the Unit Four Plus Two takes one of the guitars and strums it - cue for a song, see next record for "Unit Four Plus Two".

Cuts exist - see other records.
