Over 300,000 people descended upon New York City’s Central Park on September 13th 1980 for one of Elton’s most iconic concerts. Before he waddled on to the stage in a Donald Duck costume for encores, Elton regaled the late summer crowd with ‘Little Jeanie’ dressed in his “freaked out parking attendant” outfit, designed by Bruce Halperin.
