Radagast - Imbolc

Celtic Folk Music

Imbolc is a Gaelic traditional festival that marks the beginning of spring and it is associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid.
Its traditional date is 1 February, about halfway between the winter solstice and the spring equinox.
Later Christianity absorbed both the goddess and the festival, transforming Brigid into Saint Brigid, and Imbolc into Candlemas.
