Best served in 144pHey, first video of the year! Here's a generic town theme inspired by the classics for Pixel Day 2016. Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, Megaman, Pokémon, you name them.
You know, back in the days when tunes only had two pulse waves and a triangle bass line (NES in particular), it always intrigued me how the melody was often so well constructed with so little at hand. It's like a barbershop quartet with simple waveforms where one vocal line cannot exist without the other ones.
