So over the past weekend (it's the 6th of January as I upload this) while visiting one of my local MusicGoRounds for the 50 millionth time, I ended up snagging an ol' Roland W-30 for only $80 (... no seriously)! The thing was missing its system disk, but I was able to make my own thanks to having an old Toshiba Libretto laptop from the 90's lying around my apartment. Other than that the only other problem it has is that the backlight needs to be replaced. Otherwise it works perfectly. I haven't really dove into EVERYTHING it can do, but it's been a hell of a fun thing to mess with and learn the ins and outs of for sure.

Also it's #Jamuary . While I'm definitely waaaayyy too late on the whole "upload a video a day" thing, I can at least try and join in with some reaaaallyyy basic sample-loop based breakbeat stuff using both free samples and... well, one notso-free one ehh heh.
