Guest in the House (re-released as Satan in Skirts) is a 1944 American film noir directed by John Brahm, after Lewis Milestone, who began the film, was sidelined by appendicitis. The film is based on the play Guest in the House by Hagar Wilde.
Synopsis:
Evelyn Heath, a frail and manipulative woman, schemes to win the love of her fiancé's brother while causing turmoil within his family, leading to a tragic and deadly confrontation.
