This jam is a celebration of the 909 drum machine - Happy 909 day!I'm not trained musician, so I've been learning and experimenting with different scales, and for this track settled on the 'Locrian mode' in C sharp scale. It has a very melancholic feel to it. Suffice to say, that suits my style very well.
The Pro 3 is really the main synth in this song, going from light and minimal to heavy. Peak is playing the lead lines.
If we are talking Roland drums, I usually gravitate to the 808 sounds, but actually the 909 kit works nicely for the IDM/Electronica sounds palette. Will definitely use more often!
