this track is called "poison kiss". i have a handful of small 90s mixers... so i felt like making a "mini studio" and using it to make a drumfunk/jungle track. routing for anyone interested:

renoise patterns are output to mono 1-4 on the mixer. the mixer has two stereo RCA channel pairs, 1 is being fed the roland system 1 synth and the other is being used for the valhalla delay return. the midiverb is being used as the notepad's single mono send/stereo receive. this track was recorded out of the notepad and the only thing i did to it was push the gain up to near 0db. I also added a couple transitions from transit vst just for fun.

the spirit folio has a really nice saturation... maybe not as iconic as a mackie, but I still love it!
