Do you think this country is dangerous? My experience ⬇️Yes, this is a real question someone asked me 13 years ago and the only dangerous thing I encountered was a sea snake, and even though those snakes are the most venomous in the world, they tend to be friendly and mind their own business.
When I first came to the Philippines, I encountered the kindest, most caring people, who want to help you. This country is nothing like Thailand, the locals here don’t try to hassle you. Filipinos are happy to share whatever it is that they have, and make sure you have EATEN 🤣 this is the most common question you’ll get asked: “Kain na ka ba?” (i.e. “have you eaten”).
As my 13 year journey in the Philippines nears its end, I start to get nostalgic about my past here, and excited to come visit this place again in the future ❤️
