Well, here's new territory for D-lab electronics. A china made set of tube mono blocks. These crazy amps run a 211 tube class A for approx 16 watts output. Complaint, 1 amp had much lower power output than the other. Upon initial inspection, I noted that the Rubycon filter capacitors were leaking some waxy looking goop. So, best plan of attack is to install some good quality replacements. I have the parts on order from Mouser electronics. In part 2, I will install them, hopefully fixing the fault. If not more will follow until they are right. I have decided to take on more home audio tube amp repairs, rather than just the guitar amps. I'm sure you all could use some fresh material.
