I wrote this earlier in the year. Just a few thoughts of mine, accompanied by an acoustic guitar and a few sound effects.

It's New Years night and the fire works are coming to an end due to the rain. The last of the crowd is clearing out of here. It was fun to watch the sky light up like that. I guess I'll go, too.

I just can't help but feel alone again. The cars driving past me, disappearing into the night. They really should slow down...

I swear those dogs only bark at night... They always sound upset. I wonder if they're as lonely as I am?

The sirens never quit around here. Must've been an accident or something. I hope everything's ok, whatever it is.

Everything tonight seems so slow. Such as life with nowhere to go...

I wish it would stop raining...
