Moodymann aka Kenny Dixon Jr. released this masterpiece back in 19996 on his own imprint KDJ Records. Kenn y Dixon once said: “I don’t make music for the masses to dance to. I make music for the small majority that listens." Maybe you get what he means while listening to this amazing tune. It's definitely house, Detroit influenced, it’s that kind of house music that can be played at a late-night date as it is as well an absolute dance floor mover. The track got licensed back in the days also to some European labels like "After Midnight Records (Netherlands). The track uses some very well used samples by for example Chic - as well as Stevie Wonder as well as it's constructed quiet simple but therefor very effective, like a lot of those Detroit house classics...
