Note Values? Note values! Note Values Explained! This video is all about learning note values in music, counting note values in music, and even touches rest values in music. In this video I will teach you the basic note values and rests you need to know to begin reading music. You will learn about whole notes, half notes, quarter notes eighth notes, dotted notes, and all the equivalent rests. We will go over each of these listed notes, like the whole note and half note, and what it means, and how long to hold a half note and a quarter note and so on.

We will go over the different kinds of notes and rests and their values, or how long to hold the notes and how long to wait for the rests. I will also teach you about counting note values and how to count note values.
