Probably the first time I saw someone reach down and "play" the knobs of a pedal was The Bends era Jonny Greenwood. Small revelations can open up big doorways!Now this is a technique I use all the time, either to adjust the sound to better suit what I am playing on the guitar, or just to generate interesting effects and musical moments...I love to morph sounds in real time and create vibrant, shifting textures! I'll show you how I approach this with the Feedback control on my Trombetta Tornita, using an expression pedal with my Nuenaber reverb, and tweaking the knobs on my Hexe Revolver.
