The museum is located 1 km from the Three Gorges Dam and 22.5 GW hydroelectric plant. The museum covers a total area of 150,000 m2 and has an indoor exhibition area of about 10,000 m2.The museum houses three exhibition halls, showcasing the history and benefits of the Three Gorges Project, as well as China’s hydropower technology and its development.
