I heard this song in my early teens, as covered by someone else around that time. It started a grand fascination with folk music, specifically old Celtic melodies. Decided to make my own version of it, just for fun. It's an Irish rebel song written by Peadar Kearney, around the early 1900's

Been doing some of these covers to just not focus on grand projects like full albums so, I appreciate those taking the time to listen to these. They typically only take a few hours to make so if they make anyone happy, that's time well spend.

Neither the editing or the recording is anywhere near perfect but I'd rather enjoy doing these, than nitpicking every tiny bit and lose the excitement to make these short cover songs
