A man stopped by and asked what they were selling and how much they have made that day.
The old man could only laugh. It's not a lot. When asked how long it takes them to get home, the old man didn't know what to say because it is far and they really had to get going soon if they want make it home before it gets cold at night.
So the kind man decided to help the old couple and bought everything. While they were weighting the peanuts, he went and got some food for the old couple. He told the old man to keep the change and even asked a nearby street vendor lady to check if the bill was real.
Before she even saw the bill, she told the old man that the bill was real seeing how kind the man was. After confirming the bill was real, the man gave the old man the bag of food but he was adamant that he wasn't hungry.
So the young man gave it to his wife instead, intending for them to share. He told them to finish eating before getting home. Not wanting to add extra weights to the things they have to carry.
