Some experiments with a no-input mixer and the Korg Volca Beats.
The analog drum machine signal goes into the first channel of the mixer. The Aux Send is plugged into the second channel, creating a feedback loop. I routed the Volca’s signal to the Aux Send so it could interact with the feedback and produce weird, distorted textures.
At the end of the chain, a Zoom G1on adds some stereo chorus and plate reverb to enrich the sound.
I also included footage from a recent exploration of the eerie attic of an Italian school built in 1850. Enjoy!
